How the program actually works.
House and crate training
Clean potty habits, calm crate behavior, structured downtime. The foundations that make life with a puppy livable.
Foundation obedience
Sit, down, name recognition, recall, loose-leash walking, place. Built early so they hold up later.
Smart socialization
Controlled exposure to people, dogs, surfaces, sounds. Builds a confident adult dog, not a brittle, over-reactive one.
Structured training from day one
Puppies pick up clear, consistent rules fast. Starting with a structured communication system sets the trajectory for everything that comes after.
Scoped on the consultation.
I recently took my puppy, Luca, to High Caliber Working Dog Training for a board-and-train program, and I couldn't be happier with the results. Luca was just about three months old when I dropped him off, and he stayed for ten full weeks. When I brought him home, he was still the same happy, cuddly, toy-loving puppy. Only now he was incredibly attentive and responsive to my commands. The difference is night and day.
Three steps. No pressure.

(909) 288-2574The program runs
Six days a week, two sessions a day. Andrew runs every session personally. Engagement work, engagement, then proofed obedience.
The handover
You get private follow-up sessions, three on the 4-week, six on the 8-week, so the new behaviors stick at home.
Things owners ask
Is my puppy too young?
Once basic vaccinations are in place, puppies are ready to start. Earlier is better, the foundations are easier to build the first time than the second.
What about biting and chewing?
Both are core puppy-program topics. There are real techniques that work, most owners just have not been taught them yet.
Group class or private?
Depends on the puppy and the goals. We talk through both on the consultation and recommend what fits.
What if bad habits are already starting?
That is exactly when to call. Puppy habits are an order of magnitude easier to fix than the same habits at 18 months.
