At High Caliber Working Dogs, we offer immersive board and train programs designed to provide your dog with the structure and guidance they need to thrive. Our training focuses on building engagement, creating a foundation of clear communication, and ensuring your dog is responsive and well-behaved in any environment.
This program includes five days of training per week, with two sessions each day. We emphasize building engagement—ensuring your dog is focused on you and eager to work—using marker training. This method creates a strong base for communication through cues like “good,” “no,” and “yes,” which sets you and your dog up for success wherever you go. We also proof all the basic behaviors: sit, down, stay, come, heel (loose leash with no pulling), and place. Upon completion of the training, you’ll receive three private sessions to help you transition your dog back home and maintain the progress made during the program.
The 8-week program follows the same curriculum as the 4-week program but takes your dog to a more advanced level in every aspect of training. With more repetitions both in public and general settings, your dog will gain greater confidence and reliability in all areas of obedience. This extended program ensures deeper reinforcement of behaviors, giving you a well-rounded, well-trained dog. Upon completion, you’ll receive six private sessions to ensure a smooth transition and continued success at home.
